The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the official fare for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, with significant increases in prices across the country. The highest fare will be paid by pilgrims from southern states (₦8.78 million), while those from northern states will pay between ₦8.32 million (Borno and Adamawa) and ₦8.45 million (northern zone).

The fare for pilgrims from Borno and Adamawa is set at ₦8.33 million, while those from the northern zone will pay ₦8.46 million, and the highest fare, ₦8.78 million, is for pilgrims from southern states. This adjustment follows a history of fare increases, with last year’s prices ranging from ₦4.5 million to ₦6.8 million. NAHCON encourages prospective pilgrims to adhere to timelines, follow Saudi guidelines, and make early payments to ensure a smooth registration process.
