ABUJA: On Thursday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that the petition to recall Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, does not comply with constitutional requirements. INEC stated via a tweet on its ‘X’ account that the petition failed to meet the criteria outlined in Section 69(a) of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria (as amended).
