The incident occurred when a tanker lost control and caught fire on the Ugwu-Onyeama section of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway.
In a statement from his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and injured from the explosion. He prayed for the souls of the departed and a swift recovery for those undergoing treatment.
